Ryanna Battiste
GRUB Ryanna is an accomplished home cook who derived much joy from food, especially making and eating fresh pasta, which she studied at the Apicius Culinary School in Florence. But as she sought to get to the bottom of her deteriorating health and her son’s extreme colic, she realized that food, namely gluten, was closely linked to their every symptom. Ryanna opened GRUB, a place for Community Food Education in Wilmington NC which offers classes, workshops and support both at the GRUB House and throughout Southeastern NC |
